FAQ
A comprehensive tutoring agreement should include: tutor and client details, subject and session format, fees and payment terms, cancellation policy, safeguarding commitments, DBS status, data handling procedures, and signature blocks. Our templates cover all of these.
If you teach children, it is strongly advisable. A written safeguarding policy shows parents and schools how you would respond to a concern, and many expect to see one. Our safeguarding template, in the Pro pack, is written for UK private tutors.
The Starter pack is £29 one-off: tutoring client agreement, cancellation and rescheduling policy, GDPR data protection notice, two parental consent forms and invoice template. The Pro pack is £49 one-off and adds the safeguarding policy, online tutoring terms, group tutoring agreement, children's data GDPR pack, progress report template and more. You need a base tutoring agreement plus an online addendum covering tech failure provisions, recording consent, platform security, and data privacy for remote sessions. The online tutoring terms are in the Pro pack.
